A: No. Gamestar Mechanic is an entirely web browser-based experience. Beyond the requirement to install the Adobe Flash Player software (which is already installed on most Internet-connected computers), there is no requirement to download or install software to use Gamestar Mechanic.

A: In most environments, you should not need to change your firewall settings to use Gamestar Mechanic.
